At just 17 years old, Chloe Andrea B. Galamgam is already making waves in the world of Memory Sports. Recently featured on Radyo Pilipinas Sports Live Stream, the Grandmaster of Memory (GMM) shared her inspiring journey—from discovering her passion for memorization to dominating international competitions. Her story is a testament to how discipline, mental training, and perseverance can pave the way for academic and athletic excellence.
A student-athlete at Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS), Chloe continues to defy expectations. At the prestigious Asia Open Memory Championship 2024 held in Singapore, she clinched an impressive total of 11 medals: 7 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze. Her outstanding performance earned her the title of Overall Junior Division Champion, placing the Philippines once again on the global map of cognitive sports.
Beyond the medals, Chloe’s dedication to mastering the art of memory has earned her another milestone—promotion to Dan 2, a significant rank in the hierarchy of memory athletes. This recognition, awarded during the two-day Asian championship, acknowledges her growing expertise and consistency in high-level mental performance. Her achievement reflects not only natural talent but also hours of rigorous practice and focus.
Her excellence in the field has not gone unnoticed. Chloe was recently honored as one of the major awardees in the 2025 PSC All-Women Sports Awards, a national platform that recognizes outstanding Filipina athletes. As one of the youngest awardees, she continues to inspire other young women to explore unconventional sports and push the limits of what the mind can achieve.
Chloe Andrea Galamgam’s journey is far from over, but she has already proven that age is no barrier to greatness. With the rare distinction of being a Grandmaster of Memory and a student excelling in academics, she represents the new generation of Filipino achievers—brilliant, determined, and fearless. As she continues to rise, Chloe remains a shining example of how mental sports can empower youth and redefine success in education and beyond.
